To ensure our technicians are prepared with the relevant information for the installation of v-Library, please provide the following pieces of information by producing a print screen of the following directories and windows on the proposed v-Library Member Server…
How To Print Screen:
- Open the required screen on your computer
- Click the Prt Scrn (or Print Screen) button on your keyboard once
- Open the Paint application by clicking Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint
- In Paint, click Edit -> Paste
- This should paste the Screen Capture into the paint window
- Click File -> Save As
- In the Save As Type field at the bottom of the Save As window ensure the following is selected: JPEG (*.JPG, *.JPEG, *.JPE, *.JFIF)
- Choose where you want to save it to, define the file name and click save
- Attached the attachments to an e-mail and forward them to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Print Screen 1: Systems Information:
1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click System
4. Ensure the General tab is selected
5. Take a print screen of the System Properties Window
It should look something like the image below…

Print Screen 2: Internet Information Service (IIS) Information:
A: IIS Manager Information
1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Administrative Tools
4. Click Internet Information Service (IIS) Manager
5. Expand the Local Computer
6. Expand the Web Sites option
7. Expand the Default Web Site option
8. Take a print screen of this screen with the expanded list
It should look something similar to the image below…

B: Inet Directory
1. Double-Click My Computer from the desktop
2. Double-Click D:\ drive
3. Double-Click SchoolNo_Data
4. Double-Click Inet
5. Double-Click Intranet
6. Take a print screen of the contents of the Intranet Folder
It should look something similar to the image below…
C: Server Applications
1. Double-Click My Computer from the desktop
2. Double-Click D:\ drive
3. Double-Click SchoolNo_Data
4. Double-Click Applications
5. Take a print screen of the contents of this folder
It should look something similar to the image below…
