We chose FILMS because it was a truly integrated system, which allowed us to make the most effective use of our library resources. Computers were no longer dedicated book catalogues, but multi-task workstations whose function was limited only by our needs!

"There are a number of reasons why we selected FILMS as our library OPAC. We had been operating Ocelot. This system was becoming defunct and we were increasingly encountering maintenance problems.
• FILMS was Windows NT compatible which suited our network and proposed technology plans.
• The interface was considered the most user friendly of all the systems we investigated.
• Initial outlay cost for FILMS was low compared with other systems.
• Annual maintenance costs were not considered prohibitive.
